About us

            I started this adventure for two reasons. The first and most important is Love. She is my one and only grandchild. I want to leave her something she can continue to grow and adore. The second reason is as a result of personal growth. I "donated" a lot to a certain body care brand due to my obsession with smelling good. That was no longer sustainable for a multitude of reasons. I began by creating body care for my family, friends and myself. The transition to curating a business was "Inspired by Love". Now I share these handcrafted items at a reasonable price for all to gift or enjoy for themselves.

            The naming of this business means a great deal to me. Alkebulan pronounced as al-keh-bu-lan means "Garden of Eden". Essence refers to the properties or attributes of that garden. I find it of utmost importance to focus on creating a stress reduced environment and aroma therapy can help you get there. Soap bars are made to order and candles are aged to ensure scent permeation.
